The Story

The first mention of the Wexford-based Dave Moynihan Band (a.k.a. Dance Band) we could find was in 1947. We couldn't find many adverts for dances they played in the late forties and early 1950's. By 1955 the band was being advertised as the Dave Moynihan Orchestra.
