The Braemor Rooms opened its doors on June 7th, 1977 and immediately became a top entertainment
spot featuring all the top cabaret stars of the day. In 2001 it was sold to the McGowan family and
became known as McGowan's pub. In 2017, after lying idle for several years, the premises was converted into a
retail, centre featuring a supermarket.
