Ritz Ballroom, Carlow, Co. Carlow

The Ritz Ballroom, Cinema and Lounge Bar complex on Tullow Street in Carlow was the centre of the town's entertainment scene
for many many years throughout the 50s. 60s and 70s. Although much of the complex has been redeveloped, the ballroom has remained
empty for over twenty years. Today (bottom photo) all that remains on the outside is this door through which dancers used to pass
twice a week to hear the greatest bands in the land.
