Memphis Showband

Hit the road on in December 1964, first major date was on January 17th, 1965 in the Royal Ballroom Castlebar.
The original line-up (left to right): Roly Daniels (vocals), Liam O'Sullivan (sax), Jim Bond (guitar/trumpet),
Mike Keane (keyboards), Tommy Malone (guitar), John Earl (sax), Twick Donnelly (drums), Fergie Gibson (bass).
In September, 1965, (after only nine months) Roly would jump ship and join the Jim Farley Big Band
and it appears the Memphis broke up or changed their name. In April 1965, former Fenderman Jerry Kent joined on guitar.
