Beat Group 'Shape'  formed in 1977.  The band performed a programme of top twenty hits, Rock and Roll  standards and
original material both songs and instrumentals. The group released two  singles of original  
 material  in 1978 on the DonMar Record Label.  Both records received extensive air play  on
pirate radio stations especially ARD (Alternative Radio Dublin). The band played the pub and club circuit in Dublin
