The Covers of Spotlight - 1968

New Spotlight
In 1968, Spotlight really came of age. The magazine
published 51 issues and it was a year the publication featured seemed to shift
towards including more international acts as 11 covers were dedicated to
international acts. In fact, less than half the issues for the year featured
showband stars with the rest including ballad stars like Johnny McEvoy, The
Dubliners and Wolfe Tones. In April, the magazine celebrated 5 years of
publication.
